"Exceptional service, breathtaking views, home in the Belizean jungle"

I am so happy we chose Windy Hill as our vacation abode! We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and shown to our cozy cottage. There were five people in our party - our cottage had 2 double beds and 1 single bed. Clean and rustic - not really any bugs or dirt at all! We were able to park our car right outside the cottage for convenience. An AC and 2 fans provided more than adequate coolness. Throughout our 4 day stay, each and every staff member from the receptionist/concierge to the restaurant hosts to the bartender showed exceptional attention to detail and customer service. Everything was prompt and delicious! It is located near many nearby restaurants, bars, and is a convenient location for tours around the San Ignacio area. Our cottage was cleaned daily. You could even pre-order breakfast so it would be ready to go when you wanted in the morning. The wifi was faster in the bar and restaurant in comparison to the cottages, but this did not interfere with our experience in any way. It's actually nice to be a little removed ;) All in all - this was an incredible experience, some of the best service I have ever experienced. I would highly recommend this to anyone and I would definitely go back! Thank you Windy Hill, for an amazing time in Belize! Keep it up!

"Great Hotel for Inland Adventures in Belize"

We loved this hotel! We stayed in a standalone cottage with A/C on a beautiful hillside filled with palm trees. The hotel has a pool, onsite restaurant and bar/game room. The staff is so friendly and everyone spoke English. The hotel is in a great location to do inland tours. We were able to book tours though Natalie in the office and all the tours left from the hotel. Xunantunich (20 min away), cave tubing/zip lining (1 hour away), Belize Zoo (1 hour away) and Tikal in Guatemala (1.5 hours away). Other famous locations are close by as well. These are the tours we did with our kids. All our tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Being our first time in Belize, we weren't comfortable renting a car. The hotel picked us up from the airport and then drove us to the water taxi when we checked out. It was a great family vacation!

"Beautiful"

My husband and I and three teens stayed in a cabin in Windy Hill Resort. The cabin was clean, private and comfortable. The teens loved the pool and the hiking trails behind the resort. They also loved swinging on the hammock at night and searching for coconuts! Friendly staff.

"Incredibly accommodating staff!"

Our group of 20 stayed at Windy Hill for four nights (in five separate cabins) and I was very impressed at how accommodating the staff was!

We had an all-inclusive package (meals included) and since our group was so big, we'd order the following meal at the end of the previous one (We'd order lunch at the end of breakfast, dinner at the end of lunch, etc.) It worked out really well and the servers (Vivi, and one other young man whose name I can't remember) were so sweet!

The pool area and the bar (which hosted a ping pong table, Jenga, and a pool table) were great areas for the younger kids to hang out. There were also trampolines, a volleyball net, and a soccer ball for them to play as well. The bartender Amin was an absolute sweetheart and was quite possibly my favorite person I met during my week-long stay in Belize.

Windy Hills is a gem and definitely worth a stay!

"Going the extra mile"

This was our third time in Belize and our second time at Windy Hill. We tried a different resort our second time in San Ignacio (for variety). We just didn't have the same experience so we came back here again. We were not disappointed! We keep coming back due the extra effort the staff make for their guests. Every one was always smiling and polite. The cabana was made spotless every day and the pool, restaurant and bar were the same. Jessica, at the front desk, especially went above and beyond. She really made sure that all of our needs were met and took care of us. When we return to the jungle paradise of San Ignacio, we'll return to Windy Hill.

"Wonderful Friendly Resort"

Myself and my new husband stayed in Windy Hill in August 2014 for 4 nights. When we arrived my husband was unwell. The staff were very kind to us during our stay. My husband needed to go to the doctors and the staff arranged the appointment for us, drove us there and picked us up. It was such a pity that he was sick, but it couldn't have happened in a nicer place. The room was so lovely that we didn't mind spending alot of time there. The resort is so peaceful and tranquil. I loved the pool. I spent alot of time on the hammock relaxing which was lovely. All the staff were so kind. They went out of their way to make our stay as happy as possible. I would have no hesitation recommending Windy Hill. San Ignacio is not the nicest place to stay (I think) so Windy Hill is a perfect spot close to town but away from it all. Also do the ATM cave- brilliant!
